My name is Lahiru Edirisinghe, and I am a Physics teacher with a strong academic background in engineering and a deep passion for teaching. I graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, in January 2024, obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Engineering (Second Lower Division).

I entered the University of Ruhuna through the 2017 GCE Advanced Level Mathematics stream, securing admission in my first attempt, which strengthened my foundation in Mathematics and Physics. Soon after graduating, I chose to enter the teaching field, driven by my natural ability to explain complex concepts clearly and my genuine interest in guiding students.

At present, I am fully dedicated to teaching Physics and helping students build strong conceptual understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills. As a teacher, my goal is not only to prepare students for examinations, but also to support them in achieving their dreams and reaching their full academic potential.
